We’re very good at pushing through the week.
Less good at pausing.
This simple check-in is something I often encourage in counselling.
Not to analyse.
Not to criticise.
Just to notice.
What drained you this week?
Was it overthinking? People-pleasing? Carrying too much?
What supported you?
A walk? A conversation? The gym? A quiet moment?
When we begin to recognise what depletes us and what restores us, we start understanding our emotional patterns. And awareness is where change begins.
Self-reflection isn’t indulgent. It’s regulation.
