That’s because our brains are wired for survival. The parts of the brain responsible for threat and safety can override our thinking mind, especially when we feel stressed, overwhelmed, or triggered. These responses aren’t a flaw—they’re your nervous system trying to protect you.
Over time though, these patterns can leave you feeling anxious, shut down, or repeating the same cycles in relationships and life.
Therapy helps you understand these responses, regulate your nervous system, and gently create new ways of thinking, feeling, and being.
