There are just a few more days until my Self-Exploration through Expressive Arts retreat begins.

If you havenโ€™t been able to commit before but find that youโ€™re free this Sat/Sun/Mon, itโ€™s not too late to join.

Each retreat brings a unique group together, and itโ€™s always an honour to hold space for each person and their story, and to witness the care and support between participants.

There can be a pull at times to be who we think we need to be in order to be accepted. To adjust, to soften parts of ourselves, or to hold things back in subtle ways. This might even happen without us fully noticing.

Over time, it can begin to feel tiring and disconnecting.

And perhaps there is another wayโ€ฆ A way of becoming more aware of these patterns, and slowly allowing more of ourselves to be present in our lives.

Where in your life do you feel most like yourself, and where do you feel more pulled away from that? What might support you in living a little more congruently?

What helps you feel steady these days?

Not perfectly okay, not on top of everything, but just a little more grounded and a little more able to meet whatโ€™s hereโ€ฆ We often underestimate the value of that.

I am still preparing for the 42km Marathon in May and on Saturday I spent some wonderful hours walking 28km on the Burren. This was my longest training day yet. Here are a few pictures which really don't do justice to the gorgeous views on the day.

Iโ€™m fundraising for ๐…รฉ๐ข๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐œรก๐ข๐ง, whose work supports families living with the loss of a baby. What they offer matters deeply, and Iโ€™m grateful to be able to walk in support of them.

As the week comes to a close, it can be easy to move quickly past what weโ€™ve experienced.

Moments come and go, and we carry on.

You might take a little time today to return to one moment that touched you. Not to analyse it or make sense of it, but simply to be with it again, even briefly.

Sometimes, giving something our attention allows it to settle in a different way. To land a little more fully. Thereโ€™s no need to force anything or arrive at an insight. Just a few breaths, and a willingness to stay. โœจ
