I’m a big believer in signs. As a Medium I have witnessed amazing signs and delivered messages from loved ones at the most amazing moments. This evening as I was going through my Dads garage in Ireland which is, and has always been as long as I can remember, full of tools he has had and collected his whole life. Suddenly I spotted inside an old cabinet way up on a top shelf something carefully wrapped in a plastic bag and I felt compelled to check inside. I got a small stepladder, climbed up, and took it down. It felt like a book so I carefully unwrapped it. Inside was a book wrapped in brown paper (as we used to do in the olden days to protect covers), published in 1907 entitled “Rambles in Eirinn” by author William Bulfinn. Now, my Dad was an avid reader his whole life and had many books, most on a bookshelf in the house, but why he had this one tucked away in the garage could only mean it was special to him. I imagine also that he didn’t want my mother (rip) donating it or giving it away, and by placing it in the garage she would never look there. I knew then and there that he wanted me to find it, especially as it’s the eve of my birthday and I’ve been missing him so much recently. Holding it made me feel his spirit immediately close to me and I knew that he was supporting me and sending me his love. You see my father was a gentleman in every sense of the word - a gentle man. He was quiet, smart and caring and quietly supportive. I will treasure this book, read it, and keep it forever. Thank you Dad for this beautiful sign, I love you.
