45kg Overhead Press. Not bad for a 48 year old, hey? I love weight training, but I also do it because it's crucial if I want longevity in my mobility and functionality in later years. Bone density decreases significantly as we age, but even more so during the perimenopause, so, by doing weight exercises,I am delaying this process. Please, start doing weight bearing exercises, if you're not doing so already. If you don't use it, you do LOSE it(mobility & strength).
