Bhí lá galanta againn sa Chuirt, go raibh maith agaibh go léir a thug cuairt orinn, ár dteiripeoirí, díoltóirí agus léitheoirí uilig.

We had a beautiful day today at An Chuirt, thank you to everyone who visited, and our therapists, sellers and readers who made it such a fantastic day, and Martin and all the staff at the Chuirt.

The date is already set for this time next year.

But for now we take our winter hibernation. We recharge and we begin to put the plans in place for our big event in Caislain Oir on the 22nd of March. We hope everyone who travelled gets home safe, and we are so greatful for your company

And we have reached the final introductions, with 24 hours to go until our big event. We are all very excited and we cant wait to open our doors at 11am to show you everything we've brought to the North West this year.

So our final Therapist. Our queen bee and amazing Reiki master Maire Gallagher, who will bring these skills back to the Cuirt tomorrow November 8th.

Máire is a well established Reiki master working around the Gaeltacht, with over 20 years hands on experience and she brings a wealth of care. Knowledge and compassion to every session.

What is reiki.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.

Máire will offer sessions of Reiki, IET and her lovely intuitive skills to anyone who needs a time to pause, a time to heal and a time where they allow themselves to be a priority.

This lovely local lady is well known throughout Donegal for her yoga, pregnancy yoga, sound baths and art and we are delighted after a very successful group session last year, that at this fair Maria Coleman will offer one to one holistic treatments, using her skills as a sound healing practitioner.

A little about the lady herself, since completing a masters in Music and Media Technology, Maria has been researching the power of specific sound frequencies, which has led her to working with specifically tuned instruments that can trigger healing and profound spiritual experiences. She has been working with Solfeggio frequencies since 2004 and has rare Tibetan bowls tuned to these 9 tones.

In personalised sessions, she has also recently developed a treatment using planetary-tuned instruments and sidereal astrology that has been receiving incredible feedback from clients.

At the holistic fair, she will offer 20 minute Sound Healing tasters using the Solfeggio bowls on and around the body.

Sound healing is a powerful therapy that works primarily on one's chakras and energy body, with the vibrations bringing transformation through the physical body as well as all layers of one's multidimensional self. It can trigger your relaxation response, countering the symptoms of stress, while helping to balance your whole being. Clients report physical and mental relaxation, emotional release and spiritual insights.
