AMAZING TESTIMONIAL .... myasthenia gravis, PTSD, lost ability to speak, hard to swallow, damaged kidneys. πππ
Autoimmune testimonial: So here is my first JP testimonial, on behalf of my husband who has kindly given me his blessing. A bit of background - my husband was diagnosed around 2000 with a rare chronic (and incurable) autoimmune illness called myasthenia gravis. His symptoms were so severe when he was diagnosed that he lost the ability to speak, hold his head up and swallowing was very hard. As soon as they were able to diagnose him, he was then prescribed a huge quanity of steroids. As an ex-serviceman battling PTSD, you can imagine the effects that the steroids had and, after a number of years, he took himself off them to reduce his aggression and to protect his kidneys which had begun to be damaged by the drugs. Over the still 12 years that we've been together, he has been struck by every bug that's gone round and a common cold could put him in bed for a week (ok, allowing perhaps for an elemend of man-flu here too ;o) ). As a tree-surgeon, his work can be very physical and, if he had too much work on, that too could wipe him out for a week and bring on bad symptoms again where he could have problems breathing and swallowing which then led to him choking when eating.
In December 2015, I was recommended JuicePlus for my daughter to help combat her anxiety so I discussed with my husband him trying the Premium Capsules while we put our daughter on the chewies as part of the CHS. Amazingly he agreed (he never gave much credence to supplements or suchlike in the past). The results have been nothing short of miraculous. While he has to still take a low level steroid which he self-regulates, his immune system has RADICALLY improved. Over Christmas and New Year, the whole family was affected with a very nastry strain of gastric flu (is there ever a nice strain?!). In the past, this would have put him on his back for anywhere up to 2 weeks. This time, he was the one person in the family LEAST affected by it! Since then, the same has applied to all the other lovely bugs our kids have brought home from school. He bounces back from everything like a man 10 years younger (he's 51 this year) and even keeps talking about giving up smoking as he feels so great. (Baby steps with that one, I think!). Earlier this month, he underwent extensive dental surgery in Marrakech with an amazing dental surgeon to repair some of the damage that the steroids and other incidents had done to his teeth. The dentist couldn't believe the speed at which my husband's gums were healing during the course of the week.
My husband, needless to say, is a JP convert. :) What a life-changer! Please feel free to share. :)
