Today, members of North Kilkenny CFR were delighted to visit Scoil an Chroí Ró Naofa to deliver an important and engaging session with 4th, 5th & 6th class pupils.

We had a fantastic time teaching the students how to respond in the event of a cardiac arrest by performing CPR, and how to recognise the signs of a stroke using the FAST assessment. It was inspiring to see such enthusiasm and willingness to learn skills that can truly help save a life.

A sincere thank you to Mr Lonergan for facilitating this session and making the visit possible. We also want to thank the teachers and all the pupils in each class for their brilliant participation and attention throughout.

This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone in the community to learn essential lifesaving skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, coach, teacher, or simply want to be prepared in an emergency — this course is for you.
