I'm starting my private practice as a Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapist and Feng Shui Practitioner at the Insight Natural Healing Centre at 15 Upper Patrick street, Kilkenny city. Starting on Tuesday 2nd January 2018 with sessions available every Tuesday, wednesday and Thursday.

I will have 3 low cost psychotherapy places available for people who are on Social Welfare and are ready to work on themselves. Sessions last for one hour and are scheduled for the same time each week. Please share this post with anyone you know who may need to avail of my services. Thank you. Kathy Norris

I had a busy ten days volunteering at the Kilkenny Arts Festival which finished last Sunday 20th August 2017. I also volunteered at the AKA Alternative Arts Festival, a new smaller festival started a few years ago to cater for people who are interested in art and the original ethos of the Arts Festival. The bigger festival now contains a huge amount of classical music, which isn't to everyone's taste. I had a great time volunteering for both of them but was soooo tired at the end of the festivals that I only had the energy to go to the Schubert Sonata's in St. Canice's Cathedral, using my laminate to get in.

I'm now focused on getting my website www.kathynorris.com up and running as I prepare to launch my new businesses as a Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist and a Feng Shui practitioner in Kilkenny city and Thomastown. I will be presenting free talks about Feng Shui in September 2017 in Kilkenny, to get the word out about what Feng Shui is and how it can benefit you in your life.

I had a wonderful weekend in the Crowne Plaza hotel in Santry last weekend. It was our Buddhist Summer training course, which happens every July and brings over 200 buddhists together from around the country to chant, listen to study lectures and hear wonderful experiences of how the practice has transformed people's lives. I practice the Buddhism of Nichiren Daishonin and our organisation is called the Soka Gakkai International (www.sgi-uk.org). There are 12 million of us around the world in 192 countries and we all chant every morning and evening. I hadn't been to a summer course since 2014 so it was great to meet some old friends and make some new ones. I also gave up smoking rollies on Sunday 24th July and I'm now onto day 5 and doing ok.....

I am currently working on my website www.kathynorris.com and it will be ready in a couple of weeks. I am working through the three case studies I must complete to become accredited as a Feng Shui practitioner with Amanda Collins, of the International Feng Shui School. I did the training last April and I absolutely loved it. My three case studies are an apartment, a large house with a garden and a business. I intend beginning my practice as a Feng Shui practitioner and humanistic and integrative psychotherapist in Thomastown and Kilkenny city on 1st September 2017. Watch this space!!!!

I recently did a 6-day training to become a Feng Shui practitioner in Gorey. It was a wonderful experience and I'm looking forward to combining my Feng Shui practice with my psychotherapy practice very soon. I need to do three case studies to gain my certification as a Feng Shui practitioner. I've already arranged with friends to use my skills on a two-bedroom apartment in Dublin, a three-bedrooms house in Inistioge and a yoga studio in Waterford. I'm sooo looking forward to this new chapter in my working life. Onwards and upwards!

I'm SOOO excited!! I'll be at the Bruce Springsteeen concert at 6pm tonight for a 7pm start.... I can't wait!

It's Thursday 26th May 2016 and I'm looking forward to seeing Bruce Springsteen in Croke park tomorroq night. It should be a great gig as he's playing the whole of 'The River' double album from start to finish. Gates open at 5pm for a 7pm start. I expect the concert to go on for 3-3.5 hours. I'm booking an AIRBNB room for that night.

It's Friday 4th December 2015. I'm listening to the radio whilst typing this. I moved to 5 Lintown Avenue on 10th December 2010.I'm having a 5th anniversary party on Saturday 12th December 2015. I will make a big pot of Salmon and Monkfish Laksa, a big pot of Spicy Chickpeas in Tomato Glaze, Some brown rice, some basmati rice and some potatoes. I've invited over 30 people to my party and I'\m really looking forward to it. I will have a food tent in the garden and move my large dining room table out there. I now have a surround sound cd player and will buy Adele's new cd and the double CD from Today FM which features all the artists who performed on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast programme. That's all for now....
