❤️For Our Little Angels❤️

To Dublin we journeyed, hearts open wide,
We have special needs children we cherish with pride.
To fight for their future, to make our case clear,
For places they needed, for love to draw near.

We carried their stories, their dreams, and their right,
To an education, to care, to the light.
At Little Angels, a school full of grace,
We knew in our hearts was their rightful place.

We sat with the suits, we spoke through our tears,
Eight weeks of silence, eight weeks of fears.
But mammies don’t buckle, they rise and they roar,
And we made sure our kids won’t be ignored.

We stood side by side, no backing down,
Not for a seat, a desk, or a crown—
But for children who matter, children in need,
And a system too slow to follow their lead.

Then finally, word came—the answer was “yes,”
And hearts that were heavy felt light in their chest.
Cillian, Ben, Saoirse, Josh,
Finn, Casey, Tom, Micheal too -we did this for you.

But this is just one step, not the end,
We’ll fight on for others, our voices won’t bend.
To every child, we now take a stand,
For Little Angels—and schools across the land.

So thank you to all who stood by our side,
In our journey to Dublin, we swallowed our pride.
We journeyed as parents, we left with a win—
For our little angels, let the change begin💗

Minister of State with special responsibility for Special Education Michael Moynihan has confirmed that all children looking to secure a place at Little Angels Special School in Letterkenny, Co Donegal in September will be accommodated.

Delighted that we have confirmation that the children denied a place in Little Angels will now be accommodated. Well done to all the mothers who campaigned for what is their child’s constitutional right.

It shouldn’t have taken mothers camping outside the Dáil to get this result. They deserve a huge congratulations for their campaign. Let’s now work for the permanent solution. 👊👏

🚨🚨🚨 We Have Our Answer – And It’s the One We Fought For🚨🚨🚨

This evening, we received the call we’ve been hoping and praying for. Pat the Cope Gallagher has been in touch after speaking directly with Minister Micheál Moynihan — and we are overjoyed to share that our beautiful children will have their well-deserved placements at Little Angels School this September.

This is the news we fought so hard for. The sleepless nights, the tears, the anxiety — it wasn’t for nothing. Our voices were heard. And today, we celebrate a victory not just for our children, but for every child who needs a little extra help and love.

We want to thank everyone who helped us on this journey — your support carried us through. Over the coming days, we will be reaching out to you all individually to express our deepest gratitude.

As a result of this positive outcome, the protest planned for Sunday in Letterkenny is now cancelled.

We will follow up with a proper thank you to everyone who stood with us, contacted us, and lifted us up with your messages, your posts, your presence, and your kindness.

For now — please go and enjoy your weekend. We certainly will.
