Millstreet Medical Centre - Practice Secretary Required

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, efficient team member to join us as a practice receptionist. We currently consist of two GP’s, one GP Registrar, two Practice Nurses and two Receptionists
We strive to provide excellent and efficient patient care and take pride in our role as a teaching practice. Experience working in a GP Practice reception role (or similar) and of Socrates practice management software is desirable but not essential. Candidates should have excellent customer service skills, strong people management and organisational skills.

The role is a 28 hour working week to cover maternity leave.

Due to the Red Alert warning for tomorrow, the surgery will be closed in the morning and one of the doctors will be available through the work mobile for urgent cases. We will review the situation as the storm alert is revised.

Remember only ring the GP if unwell during Red Alert. For routine enquiries, results etc please ring on Monday.
