Where the money is going:

Funds raised will directly support a group of young people in early 2026 to transform an overgrown outdoor area into a recreational and gaming space, including: ⚽ Football Pool (outdoor twist on a pool table 😄)
🎮 Retro arcade-style games
🎯 Skill, accuracy, balance & coordination games

This project builds on the great support already received from Breifne College, the Cavan School Completion Programme, and Alan Ryan Creative Youth Coordinator (CMETB) who funded Phase 1.

Every entry helps support hands-on learning, confidence building, and positive youth-led community projects.

Phase One Complete at Breifne College! 🙌

Over the past few weeks, we’ve had the privilege of working with an incredible group of students and teachers from Breifne College to transform an unused outdoor space into something the whole school can be proud of.

From day one, the lads rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in — raking, levelling, barrowing stone, learning tools, building frames, and putting in real graft from start to finish. Every part of this project was student-powered, guided step-by-step with support from staff and Let’s Give Back.

Together we’ve completed:

✅ Full ground preparation
✅ Stone surface laid and levelled
✅ Four raised garden beds built
✅ Brand-new handmade benches created
✅ A clean, safe foundation ready for the next stage

This marks the end of Phase One, and the students should be incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved. The teamwork, confidence, problem-solving and practical skills developed throughout this project were outstanding.

A huge thank you to:

💙 The students — for showing commitment, respect, humour, and serious work ethic from start to finish.
💙 CMETB — for funding support that made this work possible.
💙 Cavan School Completion Program — for their organisation, encouragement and hands-on involvement each day.
💙 Breifne College Staff— for all the support and assistance throughout the project.

We’re now all set for Phase Two, where the centre area will be developed into an exciting new games and activity zone for the school. We’ll share more details on that very soon — but for now, Phase One is officially complete and looking unreal.

🚛 Commercial Truck Transformation Project – Phase 1!

From delivery van to community powerhouse! 💪
We’ve officially kicked off work on converting a former Commercial delivery truck into a dual-purpose community vehicle — and it’s already taking shape.

The old wrapping has been removed, the bodywork cleaned down, and we’re now getting it ready for its new design and purpose. This truck is big enough to tow our food truck, giving us even more flexibility for future community events and projects. 🙌

One side will be fitted for tool and materials storage to support our community builds, while the other will include refrigerated space for food outreach and events. Existing shelves have been utilised to limit material usage and waste.

This project combines upcycling, sustainability, and purpose — turning something once retired into something that gives back. ♻️

It’s all part of our mission to keep Building Skills, Building Community. 🧡

🚐 Food Truck Renovation – Phase 1!

Exciting things are happening behind the scenes at Let’s Give Back! 🎉
Our community food truck is now in Phase 1 of its renovation — and we can’t wait to share the journey.

This first stage focuses on stripping, cleaning, and preparing the interior for a full fit-out that will soon serve as a mobile coffee and food unit. Once completed, it will help us fundraise for local projects, engage youth in hands-on learning, and bring communities together through events and pop-ups. ☕🍔

A massive thank-you to SICAP at Monaghan Integrated Development for providing a start-up grant to help us begin this exciting project. Your support has made the first phase possible and brought us one step closer to turning this vision into reality. 🙌

It’s all part of our mission to create opportunities, build skills, and give back to the community that supports us. 💪

💬 Belturbet – “Bounce Back” Youth Project 🌿

A brilliant effort from the young people at Bounce Back Youth Club in Belturbet, who took on the challenge of rejuvenating their outdoor area by the waterfront — and absolutely nailed it! 👏

With guidance and support from Let’s Give Back, the group worked together to clean, repair, and refresh the space, creating a welcoming spot for everyone to enjoy. It was inspiring to see their teamwork, creativity, and pride in giving something back to their community. 💪

A special thank-you to Peter Cunningham and the team at Newtricity Clones, Monaghan for donating the recycled timber used to build the new furniture — your contribution made a real difference. ♻️

And finally, a huge thank-you to the CMETB for funding this project — without your support, initiatives like this simply wouldn’t be possible. 🙌

Welcome to our page!

Let’s Give Back is a community-focused organisation with a primary mission to support key groups such as youth, individuals facing mental health challenges, and those recovering from addiction by helping families, communities and individuals through home and garden renovation projects. All services are fully funded, ensuring no cost to those in need, with resources raised through innovative initiatives.

Youth play a pivotal role in the organisation, designing projects and leading fundraising efforts, while also gaining valuable skills and life experience. Additionally, Let’s Give Back supports those recovering from addiction or facing mental health challenges, providing opportunities for upskilling and reintegration through meaningful participation in community projects.

The organisation is also expanding its impact by offering minor home renovations for elderly individuals, ensuring their living spaces are safe and comfortable. Let’s Give Back combines practical support with social empowerment, building resilience and fostering a strong sense of community for all involved.
