Job Title: Gasyard Centre Caretaker
Location: Gasyard Centre, 128, Lecky Road, Derry
Responsible To: Gasyard Development Trust General Manager
Hours Of Duty: 35 hours per week - One year initial contract.
Rate Of Pay: £21,840 per annum
Purpose: Reporting to the General Manager, the Building Caretaker will support the delivery of a high-quality facilities management service at the Gasyard Centre site. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the manager in carrying out building inspections, co-ordinating reactive day to day maintenance and cleaning requirements including room set up and take down, book contractors for programmed maintenance and works contract, whilst providing a professional service on all aspect of property in respect to the organisation.
Applicants must have;
• 5 gcse’s including Math and English
• Microsoft Office 365 Literate – Excel Outlook, Word, teams etc
• Experience of completing building risk assessments
• Experience in industrial cleaning
• Experience of building / facilities management to include health and safety inspections.
