We are hiring 2 or more shoemakers

Welter's Personalised Footwear Ltd. is an orthopaedic appliance company known for its German standards and highly recommended by Orthopaedic Surgeons, GPs, and leading Physiotherapists in Ireland. Our main focus is on prescribed orthotics and orthopaedic handmade shoes. We have clinics located in Dublin 4, Merrion Gates Medical Centre and Naas Ladytown, Toughers Business Park.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Shoemaker at Welter's Personalised Footwear Ltd. The Shoemaker will be responsible for leatherwork, sewing, and reproduction of orthopaedic shoes. They will also receive training and perform other related tasks.

Qualifications

Leatherwork and Sewing skills
Experience in reproducing shoes/orthopaedic shoes
Training in orthopaedic shoemaking
Attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Knowledge of different types of leather and their properties
Experience in the footwear industry is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent
