Sports First Aid course

Do you work pitch-side or coach a team then this course is for you. Get the skills to deal with emergencies you may face on the pitch.

The course will include classroom elements along with practical outdoor scenario based training, allowing the student to develop their learning and skills in the environment for which they will be working. The course will consist of:
Event preparation and planning
The pre hospital system
Medical and trauma emergencies
Head, neck and spinal injuries
Wound management
Fracture management
Outdoor skills based training
Environmental emergencies
Cardiac first response
Dates: 16th, 17th and 18th June 2017
Times: 9am to 5Pam

Upcoming Sports and pitch-side first aid course

This 3 day course is designed for teachers, team therapists, physiotherapists, coaches and those working in the sports industry. The course is delivered by Industry professionals with vast industry experience both at home and on the International front. The course will include classroom elements along with practical outdoor scenario based training, allowing the student to develop their learning and skills in the environment for which they will be working. The course will consist of:
Event preparation and planning
The pre hospital system
Medical and trauma emergencies
Head, neck and spinal injuries
Wound management
Fracture management
Outdoor skills based training
Environmental emergencies
CPR (Cardio pulmonary resuscitation) and the use of an AED (automated external defibrillator)
Stretcher management

Dates: 1st, 2nd & 3rd April 2016
