Having graduated from University in 2015 with a degree in BSc Food Quality, Safety and Nutrition, I have developed a strong passion for nutrition, health and holistic wellness. As a result, I decided to continue my studies part-time and train with the College of Naturopathic Medicine. I graduated in 2019 as a fully registered Nutritional Therapist. To date, I have used this page, somewhat like a blog, detailing my time as I studied more about the relationship between nutrition and health as well as providing you all with relevant information that will help you make informed nutrition choices to lead a healthy lifestyle. My focus is looking at how nutrition is key in prevention over cure, in relation to disease. I am a firm believer in balanced diets and 'everything in moderation' so I aim to use my nutrition knowledge to help make you aware of how simple changes can create everlasting vital health benefits and ensure optimum health. Please feel free to ask me any health related questions - I am more than happy to help. Also, any information I post I will make sure is scientifically proven as I endeavour to provide you all with trustworthy and reliable information. Nutritional therapy is based on scientific and evidence based nutrition advice. No nonsense. No fad diets. No calorie counting. 🚫Simply, good food choices for your needs. Nutritional therapy is for EVERYONE but no two people are the same. Each one of us is beautifully unique with different health needs.

My 1-to-1 consultations are tailored to suit you as an individual.☝🏼 Everyone has different eating habits and stressors in life and each of my clients get dedicated 1-to-1 time with me to discuss these throughly, with the aim to get to the root cause, by looking at the body as a whole and not just the symptoms. It’s not about masking the symptoms but rather taking the time to find out what the root cause is and managing your symptoms in a healthy, realistic and achievable way. 🙌🏼

SELF-LOVE 🥰 | Happy Valentine’s ❤️

One form of love not spoken about much is that of self-love. Often forgotten about but one that is vital for our own well-being and happiness. It’s true the saying: “You can’t pour from an empty cup.”

Valentines Day is soon and I challenge you to dedicate some time to a self-love activity, whether that be cooking up something nutritious for your lunch or simply going to bed an hour earlier. Here are some other self-love ideas to try:

📝Keeping a gratitude diary can really help increase our sense of appreciation for ourselves and what we have in life.

🍎Eating healthily is important but also a little of what you enjoy and doing daily exercise can help to nourish your body, mind and soul.

💤Getting sufficient quality sleep is vital for our health and wellbeing. Try getting some early morning light, turning screens off at least 2 hours before bed, avoiding alcohol, not eating late and try listening to a sleep or relaxation meditation before bed.

💛Make a point of doing more of what you love; make a list each new week or perhaps today for the new month ahead of things you want to do for you!

🤗Learn to forgive yourself and others. Be kind to yourself. Stop holding onto negative feelings about past experiences - it will only result in unhappiness and regret.

Remember, it may be Valentines, but self-love is important 365 days a year! It can enable us to be happier, healthier and to love more deeply. ❤️
