Evening Walk at Ballyhiernan Bay
30cm x 20cm

This family are very precious to me- I was asked to simply paint a picture that captured them in their special place as a birthday present for the mama bear. What a joy!!

Bright Lights, Big City
25cm x 30cm

I love this view towards Belfast…Always have and always will. The cranes govern over the city with solemnity and define its skyline.
Colour continues to define this collection of paintings centred around Belfast Lough which can currently be found in . Bright Lights, Big City is the first of the three smaller paintings.

Will it or won’t it?
40cm x 60cm

The final large painting in this series capturing Belfast Lough, catches the heavy Northern Irish rain clouds passing by the serenity of the sunset.

In truth, this one probably best reflects life over the last year… I’ve definitely struggled to find my painting head and at times the clouds of lockdown have been heavy- which I’m sure is how it has been for many…. but there is light beyond the clouds.

This Belfast Lough series are currently in and I’ll post the remaining small paintings over the coming days.

Broadened Horizons
Acrylic on canvas
120cm x 60cm

Having been unable to be in other homes for so many months, it was lovely to see this one in reality today and the coffee and friendship that went with it. A reminder that the simple things are not to be taken for granted...
Spending her first five years in a Thai orphanage, this was the first time that the little girl on the left had seen the ocean.
