Another busy week but such great memories. Valentines day is nearly here and the children have made salt dough decorations and crepe paper hearts. Lego was a firm favourite again. Floor puzzles were made, one child was so excited to finish the giant space puzzle with help. The children found a mound of sand and this has been the highlight, lots of volcanoes and trenches were made. We have had 2 German work experience girls and have learned a few German words. A busy week learning about animals found in Africa. We have had a great week learning a few facts on the African animals.

Goodbye sandpit and hello water tray. So much, lots of bubbles, and jello. Water is such a fun sensory activity, I wasn't for the floods of water on the floor but it didn't happen. They played for ages just scooping up water and pouring. We made Lego boats, this involves lots of concentration and problem solving.

A lovely week, we were busy learning about land, air and water. For show and tell, the children brought in an item that would belong in land, air and water. We have been identifying our numbers this week. Painting on different surfaces like tin foil and bubble wrap. We made vegan lemon drizzle buns. We made a Duplo Lego city and planted cress. The weather was ok and we managed to spend time outdoors on bikes and tractors, swinging and on slides

We have been learning all about the dentist this week. Such a fun filled few days, playdough dentistry great fun. We have learned to brush front, back and up and down. We all brought home a dental bag, a new toothbrush and toothpaste.
Early visits to the dentist are very important, they set a baseline and reduce future anxiety, while regular check ups catch problems like tooth decay

Another very busy week but such fun we had. We have been busy learning about space. A great science experiment with the flying rocket. We introduced mud into the farm, such fun and. A little mess. We used loose materials, wood and rocks to make the 'worlds largest ramp for tractors'. We made cookies, played with musical instruments. We spent a lot of time outdoors and were fascinated with shadows.
