πŸƒ It has been a long few months in the lead up to this but through all the hardship I cant wait to take this on

πŸ’ͺ Im not coming on here or to try give life advice but 1 thing I know through trial and error from myself is this....

πŸ™Until you decide you are going to put yourself into very uncomfortable situations you will never truley grow as a person or reach your full potential.

πŸ‘When I started this group years back my aim was to never turn people into athletic machines but to instill belief into them that they can achieve more than they think they can

πŸ‘To be ok with failing over and over and to not worry about what those around them think or to be too embarressed for trying.

πŸ‘‹ To put themselves out there and show people it can be done , whatever that may be.

❌️Life is short ... people dont care or watch you as much as you may think or like , do what makes you happy

πŸ—“Next week we all put ourselves in a position none of us are familiar with but I tell myself how privileged I am to put myself through this as many would snap my hand off to swap places with me

At our youth camp, we’re not just coaching – we’re developing confident, resilient young people.

Each week focuses on improving running endurance, fitness, and mindset, tailored for kids aged 8–12 involved mainly in GAA and football. We blend fun, challenge, and purpose in every session.

What makes our camp different?

πŸ™ The reason we are doing this though is for kids who are sick in hospital and would trade places with me in a heartbeat

πŸ‘Ž Motivation is low the last 2 or 3 weeks and I find I am dragging myself through alot of these sessions , feeling mentally and physically burnt

But........

This tends to be the way when you are into the last 4 weeks of a tough training block and I try to tell myself its a privilege to be able to challenge myself and push my body to its limits at times especially for a cause like Children's Health Foundation
