At the heart of what I offer is a listening — to the body, to the land, to what is moving beneath the surface.

There are many ways into this work, and many ways people arrive here.

My work weaves together women’s wisdom gatherings, ritual and ancestral practices, and one-to-one healing sessions. Some of this happens in community, some of it quietly, one person at a time.

I’m drawn to work that honours cycles and thresholds… moments of change, grief, growth, remembering, and becoming. The kind of work that doesn’t rush for answers, but stays with what’s present.

I believe healing happens in relationship, with ourselves, with each other, and with the wider web of life.

If you’re here, you may be feeling a call toward depth, presence, or a different pace. You’re welcome to arrive just as you are.

Details about gatherings, workshops, rituals, and one-to-one sessions can be found via the link in my bio or in the pinned posts.

Guest Teacher Announcement:

I’m delighted to share that Aoife will be joining us as a guest teacher on THE ART OF HOLDING SPACE - HOLISTIC FACILITATION & LIFE COACHING, which runs one weekend per month from January to July.

Aoife will be supporting us during one of the course modules, bringing her unique blend of embodied practice, energetic awareness, and heartfelt presence into our learning space.

✨Aoife is a trainee psychotherapist with a keen interest in the holistic. She believes mind, body and spirit must be nourished equally. She is a qualified personal trainer and heralds movement as a key component of energetic cleansing. She is spiritual not religious and is a shamanic practitioner with experience in various energetic modalities like Kundalini reiki and Rahanni. She really loves music and is at peace and whole when doing voice work and activations with her brother Paul whether it be in sound journeys, gigs or just ‘noodling’ at home. Compassion, kindness and respect are creeds she lives by.✨

I can’t wait for you to meet her 🥰

Our final yoga classes of the year will be a simple Restorative Yoga practice, a much-loved end-of-year practice that many in my classes look forward to each year.

Restorative Yoga is a deeply relaxing, restful practice where we spend most of the class lying down, supported by pillows and blankets, to release tension and gently restore balance to the body and mind.

This year you can choose from two class times:

• 11:00am – 12:15pm
• 7:15pm – 8:30pm

Please note: If you have signed up for the full term, this restorative class is already included in your booking.
For everyone else, you can book your preferred class here (or link in bio)

I never set out to “become” someone who holds space.

For most of my life, I didn’t even know there was a name for what I was doing, and I didn’t see anything special about it. In fact I brushed it off.

Looking back, I can see how the qualities of holding space… being present, listening deeply, creating connection, showing empathy and being sensitive to others… have always come naturally to me.

When I started teaching yoga, my focus was on creating safe, non-judgmental spaces, helping people feel comfortable enough to be themselves, and to move in a way that felt good - rather than being pushed into poses or giving strong adjustments.

Years later, when I trained as a life coach, something clicked. I finally understood why people trusted me and what I was able to offer them. Life coaching also gave me the structure, tools, and boundaries to trust myself and become more purposeful and effective in helping and empowering others. It grew my confidence in all areas of my life.

But it wasn’t until my shamanic training that the final piece fell into place. For the first time, I heard myself say the words out loud: “I think… I’ve been holding space for most of my life.” Not because someone taught me. Not because I earned certificates. But because it was who I already was. And it was then I gave myself permission to claim this as a skill.

That’s why I feel called to offer this training course. It’s coming from lived experience, lived learning, lived humanity. Because I know there are others like me… people who have been holding space quietly, invisibly, instinctively… people who are already good at it but don’t know how to trust it, name it, or step into it fully.

If this resonates with you, I’d love to walk this path alongside you during the course. DM for more information 🌹

Recently, I was chatting with a friend who is truly an incredible person; full of wisdom, depth, and presence.

This person is an absolute natural at holding space, has so much to offer and is deeply drawn to fulfilling this role.

However, despite the obvious gift and ability, they confessed they were too afraid and didn’t feel confident enough to step into it professionally.

I hear versions of this all the time. And it was certainly true for me when I first started this work:

I thought I had to “learn” how to hold space.
I thought I needed more confidence, more training, more clarity, more experience.

But looking back, I’d actually been naturally holding space for years before I even realised it.

Maybe this is true for you too.

Maybe you’re the person friends come to when their world feels heavy.
Maybe people open up to you naturally.
Maybe you’ve always been the calm presence in the storm.
Maybe you can sense what someone feels before they find the words.
Maybe you’ve been supporting others in ways you never even named as a skill.

Holding space often starts naturally… quietly… before you ever consider becoming a facilitator or coach.

But without guidance, boundaries, and practice, it’s easy to feel:

– unsure if you’re “doing it right”
– uncertain how to hold a group safely
– lacking confidence
– unsure how to support people ethically
– overwhelmed by the emotional weight

This is exactly why the course exists.

It takes the natural skills you already have and helps you to explore and grow them with clarity, confidence, and structure, so you can step into facilitation with the steadiness and capacity you already sense inside you.

If this resonates, let me know 🌹

Why the Art of Holding Space Matters in Life Coaching & Holistic Facilitation

Whether you are a life coach, a healer, or a holistic facilitator, your ability to hold space determines:

• the depth a client is willing to go,
• the safety they feel in your presence,
• and the level of transformation they can access.

Holding space is not a soft skill.
It’s not a nice add-on.

It’s the foundation of this work

Clients don’t open up because we say the right thing.

• They open because they feel safe, seen, and met.
• Because our presence is regulated.
• Because we’re not rushing them or projecting our own stories.
• Because we’re attuned enough to hear what’s underneath their words.

When we know how to hold space, something powerful happens:

✨ People access the wisdom they already carry within them.

✨ They remember their capacity.

✨They drop beneath the noise.

✨ They hear themselves again.

✨ And this is what leads to real change. The kind that doesn’t depend on us, but grows from within them.

WITHOUT the ability to hold space, even the most well-intentioned coach can unintentionally push too fast, bypass emotions, or create more contraction than clarity.

WITH the ability to hold space, sessions become grounded, ethical, and deeply transformative.

This is why I created this course.

Because real transformation never comes from advice, techniques, or perfectly structured sessions.

It comes from the quality of the space we hold for someone.

🤔 I’m curious to hear:

❓What skills do you bring when you hold space for someone?

❓And when was the last time someone truly held space for you?

❓How did it make you feel?

I’d love to hear from you

Have you ever been in a situation where someone you love is falling apart right in front of you and there’s absolutely nothing you can do?

All you want to do is fix, advise, say the right thing, make the problem go away…

Yet nothing you say seems to help.

I’ve been in that scenario many times.
I know that feeling of helplessness well.

But it wasn’t until I was the one falling apart that I realised the most helpful thing another person can do is simply be there.

Just be there.
Listen.
Give your full attention.

Allow the silence.
Allow the discomfort.
Allow the emotion.
Allow the person falling apart to be exactly where they are… and be present.

Real healing doesn’t happen through perfect words or solutions.

It happens when someone feels seen, heard, safe, and not alone.

Presence is medicine.
Listening is love.

And holding space, truly holding space, is a skill, an art, and a devotion.

If my story mirrors something you’ve lived too, and you feel the call to grow your capacity as a space-holder, I’m opening a 7-month journey for exactly this work.
No pressure. Just an open invitation if it feels right in your body 🌹
