Planetary Magick! Starts TOMORROW ✨️

In this 8 part online workshop series, we will work with the magick of the planets!

Also known as astrological magick, this is a form of magickal practice that harnesses the energies and influences of the planets and gods.

Each planet has their own unique qualities, powers, and correspondences, which can be channeled through spells, talismans, magick squares, and simple direct communication via word and gesture.

Together we will touch on the traditions of the grimoires and work with the Orphic Hymns. We'll connect with myth and story.

You will make the relationship with each planetary energy your own, deepening and strengthening your bonds with each power.

You will "get to know each other" experientially, practically, and in an embodied way, developing a relationship and deepening your understanding.

The first class is an introduction to the practice(s) of planetary magick.

The next seven classes are dedicated to the 7 classical planets, one session for each.

Moon: Emotional well being, home, family, intuition, psychic abilities.
Sun: Vitality, success, acclaim, life path actualization, inner child, personal power, self expression.
Mercury: Communication, learning, shape-shifting, comedy, business, short distance travel.
Venus: Love, beauty, sexual magnetism, relationships, value, money.
Mars: Courage, assertiveness, conflict, desire.
Jupiter: Expansion, abundance, growth, success in law.
Saturn: Boundary setting, discipline, structure, limitation, success in worldly matters.

Happy Friday (sacred to Venus) my darling! 🖤✨️

Venus is newly in Pisces. I LOVE this placement, with its soft focus lens and emphasis on Universal Love. Venus is exalted in Pisces, so she can fully express her powers. She's sympathetic and dreamy. She's divine love. Sexuality as holy. She's encouraging us to live in our hearts primarily.

Where could you soften, even a little?

How could you prioritize love a little more?

The heart knows that curiosity is more powerful than judgement. Ego may argue, because it likes to self preserve and be right. It likes what it knows. It likes to say "look at what the heart did to me". But the heart, when it's *really* attuned with, is the direct line to your soul. And that's the only thing that's going to matter in the end.

While I'm writing this, I'm looking up through my window at the beautiful Pisces cresent Moon in the sky alongside sparkling Venus. The swans are gathering in their nighttime place in the winter lake...

Happy Friday my sweet friend 🖤 This is a big week astrologically speaking!

Mars is locked in an opposition with Pluto, AND going backward. Mercury is still retro, too. Things slow down and pressure for change builds at the same time.

The North Node in Aries has been showing us the new directions that we need to move in in order to self-actualize. But Mars R is slowing down this process and putting it before the Lord of Underworld for evaluation. Pluto doesn't play, and interrogates our self-concept with questions that may seem just a smidge heavy-ish 🖤

There's the potential for raw, unconscious, old themes to rise to the surface and oof… it might not look pretty. It's easy to confuse threats to our ego with threats to our survival. And true, it's Ego's job to keep identity intact, and to keep us emotionally safe. But Pluto is about the soul. Getting worked up could be a signal that a course correction is needed in order to answer something even greater in ourselves.

With Chiron and Lilith opposite one another in Aries and Libra respectively (Mars ruled and Venus ruled) we might feel like a very vulnerable underside is exposed, a pain point triggered, and it's easy to default into lashing out or abandoning. Two words: shadow. work.

Venus will arrive on the scene with a conjunction with Pluto and an opposition to Mars. This is kinda upsetting, but also kinda hot??

I think of this quote from Esther Perel: “Most of us will get turned on at night by the very same things that we will demonstrate against during the day – the erotic mind is not very politically correct.”

4 Week Bellydance series 6 - 27 November

Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9 pm Dublin Time.

Bellydance technique fundamentals, and energy body awareness via dance.

We will work in alignment with the the dark season to cultivate grace and serpentine elegance, combining physical bellydance technique with an awareness of your energy body.

This class has both technical and meditative elements.

It is for dancers who are just beginning, and for those who wish to refine basic technique while further exploring bellydance mysticism.

Aepril will be touching on the connections between bellydance, kundalini / sacral energy, and creative sorcery.

We will work with the idea of "heart-mind coherence" via dance, helping you become more self-possessed and at ease in your body and point of power.

It is for all levels of experience and genders.

What to expect:

Big changes are afoot with this t-square in mutable signs! Exact aspects happen 14th through 19th. A Mars and Jupiter conjunction on Gemini ♊️ begins things, and they in turn start to square Saturn in Pisces ♓️ This T-square perfects mid-month, when Venus in Virgo ♍️ also gets into the mix.

The mutable signs are masters of shape-shifting. They excel at flexibility, and they're able to see things from multiple angles.

We have an opportunity for changes that have been needing to be made for a long time. let them happen and don't hold on.

There's more freedom and peace available on the other side. Things may be quite different afterward!

This Cancer New Moon falls between the two Capricorn Full Moons like a soft place to land.
