I've had a lot of new followers recently 👋and quiet a lot of views from the podcast I did during the summer last year with Pavel .mental.health.expedition. I've wanted to do a post on the whole experience but of course I procrastinated a lot and its now its 5 months later and I'm finally putting something together 🙈. I attended a fantastic training day yesterday around Denentia Awareness. This was a free service deliverd through the Dementia Services Information and Development Centre who are based in St James's Hospital.

The brilliant facilitator Darko mentioned that not many people are aware of the service they deliver so I wanted to spread the word. Darko travelled from Dublin to clonmel to deliver this training and the only cost wss travel expenses.

Check out their website as they have brilliant information leaflets available for free at www.dementia.ie. You can also get in touch regarding different trainings they facilitate. I highly recommend it.
