🌿👟 Yesterday we were delighted to join Galway Sports Partnership for an Activator Poles Walk.

It was a fantastic morning of movement, fresh air, and fun. The activator poles are a great way for people of all ages and abilities to get active, improve balance, and enjoy walking together.

A huge thank you to Helen Daly from Galway Sports Partnership for facilitating the walk and to everyone who came out and took part it was wonderful to see such great community spirit! 💚 Week 1/5 ✅

September marks the Green Ribbon month, a nationwide campaign dedicated to challenging the stigma surrounding mental health. Led by Shine Ireland, the initiative invites people to wear the green ribbon, a symbol of solidarity and support.

Matthew and Gabriel from &DCES have done a fantastic job today transforming the hedge outside a derelict house. It was so overgrown that pedestrians were forced onto a busy road just to get by. Thanks to their hard work it is now safe, neat and tidy.

Our volunteers spend several hours refreshing walls around our town today that had recently been covered with graffiti. While we're always glad to support our community, we can't help but think of all the other positive projects we could have focused on instead.
