I have a few openings for private PT clients starting the week of May 13th.

- 2 sessions per week, between 3pm and 6pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
- all sessions are 45 minutes long and include warm up , workout, and cooldown.
- nutrition coaching is an optional add on.

Woohoo!! After a lovely week off, group fitness is back in the Douglas Community Center.

All classes are 45 minutes and suitable for all ages/ stages/ abilities/ goals. I will say there is a minimum enrollment required for classes to go ahead so my TOP TIP would be tell a friend to join you for the class that you want to register for!

According to the British Heart Foundation, the gut microbiota is linked to diseases such as heart attacks, high blood pressure, and diabetes. The magic happens in how healthy gut microbiome interventions can improve precursors to cardiovascular disease (CVD) such as; obesity, pre-diabetes, hypertension, and elevated LDL and TG markers (Wouk et al, 2021).

It’s almost time 👀

Almost time for you to say “not right now.” Or even, “now isn’t a good time.”

I beg to differ, and here’s why:

There never is a perfect time. Those moments where the promotion perfectly lines up with the mortgage application are freak accidents that you WISH you could plan for.

I know, I was there. I didn’t get the freak accident promotion and application approval though 😅

If you wait for perfection, will you actually know when it happens? Or will you spend so much time searching for perfect that you stop and go “oh s***, I should’ve actually done that thing then?”

If you have ANY inkling of New Year resolutions for 2024, let it be this:

Stop holding out for the perfect moment, or the stars to be perfectly in line.

Just do the d*** thing. That’s what countless clients have chosen to do over the past few years in Empowered To Go, and look where that got them!

I become more and more proud of the clients who choose to work with me.

They’re losing weight that’s preventing them from having a healthy pregnancy.

They’re navigating IBS flare ups with ease (even though the symptoms are never easy).

They’re embracing the ability to travel and have a health routine that doesn’t handcuff them to their own kitchens.

They’re feeling stronger, more body confident, and more in tune with what feels good (vs what social influencers tell them will feel good).

I’m so thankful for all that the Empowered To Go community have brought to the table this year: passion, a moldable mindset, dedication and empathy for self.

Just wanted to share that I am starting open level fitness classes at the Douglas Community Center 😀 I am SO excited to bring these classes to my local community!

Dance Fitness: an open level cardio/ bodyweight strength class choreographed to music. All you have to do is follow along & enjoy new music every week. Every Tuesday from 7:15pm to 8pm.

Mobility & Core: an open level class designed to support healthy joint movement, alleviate tension after the work day, and enhance your stability which complements daily life as well as recreational athletics. Every Thursday from 7:30pm to 8:15pm.
