Do you remember that moment in The Alchemist
when Santiago finally stands before the desert,
feeling the vast wind, the endless sand,
and the pulse of his dream calling him forward?

The desert is alive. The sky is wide.
His heart is beating fast.. not out of fear, but because he knows: This is what he came here for.

It’s intense.
Life is intense. His dream was intense.
The process he was in was intense,
all the lessons, all the letting go,
all the trust it took to follow what was true in him.

The unknown ahead feels bigger than anything he has ever known. But it’s not dangerous.

It’s life, asking him to step fully in.

Life is intense at its core. It always will be.
But when you engage with it,
when you stop standing on the sidelines,
when you say yes to what is calling you,
when you allow yourself to be moved, shaped, and opened by the journey.. something deeply powerful happens.

We need to stop associating intensity with fear.
What if it’s actually a sign that you’re truly alive?

So often I hear that we need to protect ourselves, that we need to cleanse all the negativity and bad energies…

So much fear of others. Fear of “negativity.” Fear of being touched by what we cannot control.

But I mean it, you are not here to fight life or hide from energy.
From a higher perspective, there is no one to fight or protect yourself from anyway…
And if that’s not your reality yet, consider this:
Perhaps you are here to meet life.

You are here to let it move through you, to let it touch what is ready, to allow it to dissolve what is no longer true.

Energy is not “good” or “bad.” It is vibration, movement, intelligence, grace moving through your system, inviting you to remember who you truly are.

I like seeing that cleansing is not about pushing away or sealing ourselves off. What if, it is about softening into presence, letting go of resistance, letting yourself be moved by what is deeper than fear.

And if you feel “drained,” perhaps it means you are not anchored in yourself, you are leaking energy trying to control, please, or avoid what is alive within, living far from alignment.

So I see that anchoring into presence, letting energy move, letting go of what we hold onto out of fear.. this is the true purification. Not because something “bad” is outside of us, but because life is calling us to greater freedom, alignment, and truth.

Guru Purnima

Today, we bow..

To every teacher, every guide,
every quiet whisper that has led us closer to the Truth.

To the Guru within,
to the moments that broke us open,
to the Grace that moved us forward
when we could not see the way.

To the Energy that stirs us awake,
to the Breath that keeps us here,
to the Love that calls us home.

The Guru is not a person,
not only a form,
but the Living Truth itself..
the Divine flowing through all of existence,
calling us to remember who we are.

All of life is the Guru.
Every moment, every breath,

all of it is the Guru revealing itself.
