One of the greatest mental strength hacks you’ll be able to action straight away is by putting everything into perspective.
Your problem is never the problem.
Your reaction is the problem
IF YOU HAD €86,400 IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT… How upset would you get if someone took €10 from you?
Yes, they stole it.
Would you be willing to spend all of the remaining €86,390 to get it back?
No, of course not.
We all have 24 hours in a day, 86,400 seconds.
Don’t let the 10 seconds someone stole from you with a negative comment, action or attitude ruin your day.
You still have 86,390 seconds left to live.
Don’t spend a single second dwelling on those insignificant seconds it took for someone to try to ruin your day.
Don’t give them the satisfaction.
From the moment you wake up to the moment until you go to sleep, your reactions, emotions and thoughts are completely your own and no one else’s.
You are in control.
When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change
For example, a quick hack to change from a pessimistic to an optimistic mindset is to stop saying ‘sorry for being late’ for inconveniencing others.
Instead, say ‘thanks for waiting’. Replacing sorry’s with thank you’s is a quick way to change your mental outlook.
