It's International Bereaved Mothers day, where we honour the mums who have lost a baby or child, mums whose fertility journey has been unsuccessful.
Grief, loss and infertility are very personal individual journeys, but it is also a shared human experience for sadly so many.
This piece is called Solidarity and was created to represent empathy, unity, connection and to symbolize that there are supports available. The painting is consciously designed using bright warm colours to radiate that no one is alone.
It's at home in clinic in Swords, Dublin ( it was commisioned as an original with this vision to represent support, solidarity & hope, so is not for sale and no prints publicly available) I just thought this painting colourfully summed up the energy in supporting each other on this special day so chose it for the post ♥️
