None of us had done 108 sun salutations before. Of course we’d done lots of sun salutations in classes, but 108! We didn’t have much idea of how long it would take, how everyone, including ourselves would cope, what would hurt, whether we’d make it to the end. But all these wonderful people came along and trusted in us, and together we set off on this path into uncertainty, and yes it was hard, and hot, and sweaty, and painful in the wrists, the shoulders, the legs, the butt. We had to keep reminding ourselves to focus on just this pose, just this breath, and we moved as one, interconnected, focused, amazing beautiful humans, creating a prayer for peace with our bodies, our minds, our breath, our intentions. We are carrying that prayer out into our lives into the world, taking action, making changes, making choices, using our voices, all of us in different ways, unique to who we are, but sending that message out to all of humanity. We hear you. We see you. We are you. We love you.

Ready to spring into our March month of yoga?
Join us tomorrow Wednesday at 9.30 am in Wellness Centre or 7.30pm Thursday in Community Centre.
We’ll start the month with a nice gentle class with a focus on gentle twists to help our spine mobility and help our digestive systems.
€15 per class or pay €50 for the month of 4 classes.
