Our fantastic colleague, Senior Speech and Language Therapist Jessica McGrath is now offering an online workshop on the topic of autism: strategies to support communication.

Please note: This is a pre-recorded webinar.

This workshop will cover the following topics:

- Neurodiversity
- Autism characteristics and diagnostic criteria
- Autistic styles of communication
- Strategies to support communication

Q. Who is this workshop suitable for?

A. This workshop is suitable for parents of children who might be wondering if their child is autistic, or are awaiting a diagnosis of autism, or who have recently received a diagnosis of autism.

This workshop would also be suitable for early years educators, teachers, and SNAs who support autistic children and want to learn more about autism and strategies to develop communication skills.

A truly wonderful night was had last night at the first PALS Autism Resource Fair at Loughrea Hotel & Spa 🌞

A huge thank you to the organisers at PALS Autism Support Group Public who worked tirelessly putting this event together for families and a thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello! 👋

There was a fantastic turnout and it was lovely to connect with so many familiar faces and so many new ones too!
