LOOKING FOR LEADERS
DOWN IN THE KINGDOM!!
Our friends in the Kingdom of Kerry are organising an Activator Leaders Workshop at Killarney Racecourse on Saturday June 14th. The workshop targets people from community groups, clubs and organisations that are familiar with the use of the poles (e.g. through participation in a Tutor-led Activator Programme) - who are willing to take on a voluntary leadership role with their members. Are you a community group leader interested in promoting physical activity, balance, and well-being in your area?
If so, we would like to invite you to attend a free workshop to be trained to deliver Activator Pole Walking sessions to your community group.
What’s involved? 🚶♂️🚶♀️
✅Free certified training to become a Pole Walking Leader
✅Learn how to safely and effectively lead sessions for adults of all ages and abilities
✅Help build confidence, improve mobility, and reduce isolation through inclusive, low-impact exercise
✅All equipment and support provided
Ideal for people who work or volunteer in the following areas :

☑️Men's Sheds and Women's Sheds
☑️Sports Clubs
☑️Health and Well-being Champions
☑️Community and Family Resource Centres
Note: This training workshop is designed for those who have taken part in an Activator Poles programme or who are proficient users of the poles and would like to give some guidance to others in their community.
