A fantastic turn out from the Caherciveen Men's Shed who visited the library in Caherciveen to loan out Activator Poles and to watch videos on how to use them 🙌

A big thank you to Noreen in the library who facilitated their visit during the week. We're looking forward to delivering a 4-week Activator Pole programme in Caherciveen next month😀

Activator poles can be loaned out from any library in Kerry once you're a library member.

A brilliant session yesterday to conclude our 6 week Activator Parkinsons programme yesterday.
This initiative was run in conjunction with the HSE and the progress of the group was clear to see from start to finish, well done everyone.
Huge thanks to Siobhan and Sylvia for delivering the enjoyable sessions.

TRAINER WORKSHOP
We’re happy to promote our first Activator Trainer Workshop of 2026. Taking place at Naas Sports Centre on January 16th, the workshop will enable participants to deliver Activator classes, workshops, and/or programmes - privately or as Local Sports Partnership Tutors. Ideally, participants should hold a professional qualification in areas such as Exercise and Fitness, Physiotherapy, Physical Therapy, or Physical Education - and have experience working with older adults and/or persons with balance concerns or mobility issues.
