Week 48 - Ocean View Care Home 💚💛
Today I would like to dedicate my thoughts to our staff, our community who stood by Ocean View for the past 48 weeks in hope this day would never come.
Today we say farewell to our final 5 residents and close the doors of Ocean View as we know it.
The ultimate sacrifice was paid 13 residents lost their homes and 41 staff lost their jobs.
Ocean View was not just a care home it was a community of love centred in the heart of our rural community on the Di**le pennisula.
Today we leave with one wish, a wish for this community to be given back it’s beautiful care home in the future 🌅🫶🙏💚💛
