Absolutely stunning, delicate hoop earrings with tiny flowers created from upcycled aluminium coffee pods by 🌼
Each earrings has 5 flowers of graduating colours, separated by complimentary beads are displayed on a
30mm hoop. The copper wire hoops are nickel free and available in 3 colours - silver, gold
and rose gold.

The finished earrings are so light and comfortable to wear. Just beautiful 😍

Today marks 14 years of The Upcycle Movement! 🎂🥳

14 years of rescuing and reimagining materials — but also 14 years of the most eye-opening and mind-opening journey into climate, ethical, social, environmental and ecological issues.

The more I learn and become aware of, the more driven I am to keep going.

14 years of learning, teaching, experimenting, figuring things out, making mistakes and trying again.

14 years of meeting incredible people doing incredible things — people who inspire me every single day. 💖

And in a beautifully serendipitous twist, today also happens to be Earth Day..something I didn't realise when I started on this day 14 years ago! 🌍

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported The Upcycle Movement along the way. 💚 It means more than you know.

Repair challenge of 'unrepairable boots' thanks to a follower here, Jennifer, who reached out to see if I could try repair her boots. I do love a repair challenge! And love which was one of the things I used for the job 👌

I am so excited to welcome our newest upcycler to the shop - the incredibly creative 'Serendipity by Jayne' 💫 Can you believe these stunning, intricate neckpieces are handcrafted from upcycled aluminium coffee pods!!
Jayne beautifully adds pre-loved and vintage beads as well as salvaged components from discarded pieces of jewellery into her works. These are truly one of a kind statement pieces 💥

Serendipity by Jayne all began as a happy accident, or Serendipity - when Jaynes best friend handed her some coffee pods, commenting on the lovely colours and saying that Jayne could make something from them. This tapped into Jaynes creativity and
passion for sustainability and so she began experimenting. She started creating bead forms from coffee pods and giving new life to pre-loved beads, broken pieces of jewellery and other materials for truly unique statement pieces which tell such a story. ❤️

We get a lot of materials to upcycle that have been made redundant for health and safety reasons... Just like the life jackets - no one wants to wear a dodgy life jacket right? 😬 But just because the original design purpose has come to an end, doesn't mean that the material doesn't have more to give. Infact, these hardy, vibrant and waterproof materials are ideal for upcycling because they are so durable. 💪 Straps, clips and all the bits reimagined and made into something useful - and shes ready for new adventures again 👌💫🪄
