A beautiful poem written by Sharon Healy ❤️❤️❤️
She's someone we thought would always be there Her face in the doorway, her hand in the airSaying hello as we passed by the sideWe never thought we'd be saying goodbye Each twinkling light on the Christmas tree Each one a reminder that she's not here to seeAll of us here at her fave time of yearTrying to celebrate Christmas without her hereToday, tomorrow and everyday in betweenTell all your loved ones just how much they meanTime goes so fast and memories madeJust be sure to hold onto each moment before they fadeShe's always here with us in sad times and funShe's the hero of Phils Road RunX###

Eight Year Old Izzy O'connell, Youghal, getting help from her dad Steve, starting Phil's 5K Remembrance Road Run in Youghal which was held this year in support of four local children; Conor Kenneally, Thomas and Alex Lawlor, and Jaime Hennessy who live with various daily challenges in life.

Youghal based community group, Phil’s Road Run, was set up by local families, the Terrys and the Healys, to raise funds for cancer care and other worthy causes in remembrance of Phil Terry, who lost her battle with the disease on December 21, 2012. This year they decided to rally to the cause of four local children, one who has lung problems and three who have been diagnosed with Autism.
