We are in process...

2024 ~ A year of war
like never before
A year of yearning for peace
And fighting for peace
A year replete
with miracles
~ absolute mind-blown miracles
triumphs & defeats.

A year of disbelief
over just how much grief
a region can shoulder.
A year of friends in uniforms murdered
in mounting numbers
fighting off evil
as I fight off the numbness
To suffering
and remember the moments
that made history....
The crumbling of old realities
Watching the dominos do their thing…
The fall of kings
The rise of kings

A year when heaven and hell paired
So shockingly
This year, a newly-released
Book of details
of Heaven and Hell
And everything in between…

2025, be kinder to humanity
Be gentler, please
Be a year of harvesting fruits
of a war finally finished
Not another year of planting grief.

Still in Kislev, the potent month of dreaming. I had an incredible dream last night. The Torah reads that when Joseph told his family his dreams of the stars and the sheaves that his father Jacob guarded the dream - שמר. There's a teaching that changes those letters to רשם....As in, he 'wrote down' the dream.

✍️ Writing down our dreams is a crucial step in harnessing their innate power. And so I share this one in writing... may it have a speedy fulfillment for the GOOD!

I am sitting with rows of computer geniuses and tech workers. They are all working for Israel and the Secret services. Their work is to INNOVATE new technology. It is spurred on by Israel's need for defense in this time of existential threat, but the threat is just what spurs on the astounding innovation.

They work together and exchange information in new astounding ways. I turn to the techie genius next to me and say: "Im just a healer, not a techie. But Im wondering if there's a way to SAVE A SOUL ON A DISC DRIVE?!" He gets very excited by this idea and starts working on it. It will allow for ΧͺΧ—Χ™Χͺ Χ”ΧžΧͺים the ancient concept of Resurrection of the Dead. -
We can download souls onto computers!

With this, the chairs start to move in synchronization. An AI voice tells us that we are connected to the defense grid and escorts us through the secret information available on this network. I get very moved and excited, and my heart beats with amazement and wonder at this new reality that has been created. I am told: "This has caused the prayer to shift." All the old ways, spiritually and technologically, are now revolutionized. A tipping point has been reached...
There is a Quantum Leap forward in human consciousness caused by all of the innovation necessitated by the existential threat against Israel and the coming together of so many brilliant minds in coordinated effort.

The feeling is ecstatic, wonderous.
I wake up joyous and hopeful.

May we indeed harvest a quantum leap forward in human consciousness for the ultimate illumination of the globe. HAPPY HANNUKAH! HAPPY LIGHTS! βœ¨οΈπŸ•―

Getting poetic with the parsha....

Parshat Vayeshev, "And Jacob sat in the land of his father’s sojournings…”

Ah, Jacob sat. Or as most translate, Jacob dwelt. But for the meditative among us, this opening line can be read as a lovely little hint to sitting in meditation. Jacob is finally winding down years of frenzied activity and is ready to taste some much-earned introspection and tranquility.

Just contrast this parsha title with the last two: Vayeitze and Vayishlach - β€œJacob went out” and β€œJacob sent over”. Both of these active verbs punctuate his dramatic tale of a murderous brother, greedy Uncle, nuptial dupings, and on and on. Finally, it seems that Jacob has returned to his homeland to enjoy some serenity.

Yes, that serenity will be shattered a few short paragraphs away with the β€œdeath” of his beloved Joseph. But for now, for this moment, Jacob sits. Jacob seeks serenity. And, who knows, maybe it was this one-verse worth of retreat from activity that will help him respond to the traumas to come. Maybe it is this sitting which will help him better endure whatever will come to be. Here's an ode to what happens when we sit to meditate.

Floored

Finally found the serenity of
A forgiving
floor
furled out beneath me,
terra ferma, nothing fancy,
but a marble carpet of quiet
in this once-livid living room.

All frenzy finally quelled
as a book of braille
that will not be read aloud today.

I am too busy
Breathing.

I am too busy
being
floored.
