DEAR SIR INVESTOR
If you are one of those rare lucky people who do not know what a toothache and a dentist are, then you should not read this. But the rest are welcome!
The first question. What do you think? When does a happy life end? Happy childhood, adolescence and a normal life in general. We assure you as soon as you know you have TEETH! And not just teeth, but SICK TEETH!
The second question. Do you understand the connection between your teeth, your health and your calm old age?
Third question. Are you ready to help make free dental treatment for the elderly and socially disadvantaged groups of the population?
If you are ready to say YES on all questions, it will be interesting to know the history of THIS issue. In the late 80s and early 2000s, many believed that the problem with dental treatment was solved. Dental implants began to be widely used. And bioactive coatings ensured rapid integration of implants in the body.
By 2010, the situation had changed dramatically. Previously installed implants began to fall out en masse, courts, showdowns and even high-profile tragedies began. The reason was the accelerated degradation of coatings on dental implants. In orthopedics, this did not happen, since the thickness of the coating on orthopedic implants was 300 - 600 microns and the conditions (operation) were milder. 2 - 3 lawyers for medical errors began to work next to one dentist. The production of bioactive coatings on dental implants was abandoned, since it was not possible to find a solution to the problem of coating degradation. At the 2017 and 2019 international dental exhibitions in Cologne and New York, no firm presented coated implants.
Based on the analysis of the latest scientific works on bioactive coatings, studies do not stop, since the obvious advantages of these coatings - a high rate of osseointegration and a multiple increase in the load on the implant, naturally, when eliminating the degradation of coatings, will open up their use for a large group of age clients with diabetes, osteoporosis and other pathologies.
Working in the field of materials science and coating production, we (A.Termika Ltd, Nesher) have found a solution to this problem. Insoluble bioactive coatings on dental implants were obtained, equipment, technology were developed, pilot production of coatings was prepared. At the same time, the cost of one implant does not exceed $ 3-5, which will allow organizing free treatment for a socially weak group of the population.
To implement this program, an agreement has been signed with the Institute of Maxillofacial Surgery (RAMBAM) to conduct clinical trials, then patenting and organization of pilot production are required. The required volume of external investments is $ 300,000 - 350,000, the implementation period is 1 - 1.5 years.
All necessary additional information is possible at a personal meeting.
