Our Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital, in partnership with ARC, has introduced AMIT, an AI-powered system designed to transform pediatric oncology care. By analyzing and prioritizing critical patient data in real time, AMIT empowers clinicians to respond swiftly to urgent conditions, improving both safety and efficiency in one of Israel’s busiest pediatric oncology units. Since its adoption, AMIT has reduced sepsis cases by 70%, prevented an estimated 240 medical errors annually, and shortened patient journeys by 58%.

Beyond measurable outcomes, the technology supports medical teams by easing workload pressures and giving clinicians more time to focus on compassionate, patient-centered care. Sheba is expanding its global impact by sending a group of Sheba doctors through our Humanitarian and Disaster Response Center initiative to Ethiopia and Togo to strengthen neonatal and orthopedic care in Bahir Dar and help create new humanitarian partnerships in West Africa.

Through training, surgeries, infrastructure upgrades, and knowledge sharing, Sheba Global continues to foster international collaboration and create lasting healthcare solutions.
