The participants' outstanding feedback highlighted not only the high-level professionalism and practical skills gained but also Valery's remarkable dedication to adapting the curriculum to create a truly impactful learning journey.

In collaboration with Revealense, ARC is developing an AI-powered solution with the potential to transform how conditions such as autism, ADHD, and other neurological challenges are diagnosed. The new integrated clinical and technological solution will allow assessments at home, through a simple webcam—a shift that makes diagnostics more accessible, accurate, and reflective of a patient’s natural environment.

This collaboration brings together clinical expertise, advanced technology, and international partnerships. Most importantly, it represents a powerful step toward earlier detection—potentially enabling initial assessments of autism and other conditions as early as 6 to 12 months of age.

After nearly 20 years of severe neuropathic pain and unsuccessful treatments, Yoav Rokach Penn found relief through a pioneering nerve stimulator surgery at Sheba Medical Center. This advanced procedure, directed by Dr. Ruth Gur and assisted by Dr. Adrian Greenfeld, involved implanting wireless electrodes that modulate nerve signals to block pain. For the first time in Israel, a child living with a rare neurodevelopmental disorder is receiving a personalized RNA-based drug created specifically for her condition.

Developed by a dedicated team at Sheba Medical Center, including Dr. Dan Dominissini, Director of Diagnostics and Vice Chair of Research and Development; Dr. Nofer Mor, Head of the RNA Therapy Research Group; Prof. Gidi Rechavi, Director of the Cancer Research Center; and Prof. Bruria Ben-Zeev, together with a multidisciplinary team of leading researchers and physician, we now have the treatment that addresses the genetic cause of the disease rather than its symptoms, offering new possibilities for children with rare conditions that have no existing cures.

Sheba Medical Center welcomed the Dominican Republic’s Deputy Minister of Risk Management and Environmental Health, Dr. Gina Beatriz Estrella Ramia, and a delegation from the Ministry of Public Health and partner institutions.

The visit highlighted Sheba’s global leadership in emergency preparedness, hospital resilience, and integrated crisis management. Delegates toured the Control Care Center, Sheba Beyond virtual hospital, and the Humanitarian Disaster & Response Center. Drawing on extensive field experience, Sheba provided hands-on learning in emergency preparedness, crisis management, and hospital risk mitigation for the global healthcare leaders.
