🌟 Exploring Longevity: Insights from the 'Ageless Horizons' Meetup at IMed Innovation Center 🌟
Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting distinguished speakers who shared their expertise in the field of longevity:
🧬 Keynote by Shay Liraz, Biotech Entrepreneur, who presented an inspiring and informative overview of aging and the longevity industry, showing the recent growth in startups and investments in the field.
🧬 Presentation by Dr. Ilia Stambler, Chairman of Vetek Association, who discussed the needs and ways of enhancing research, development, education, and community building for healthy longevity, in Israel and in cooperation with Israel.
🧬 Prof. Alon, Head of Sagol Institute for Longevity Research at Weizmann, who delved into system biological modeling approaches to healthspan and lifespan improving interventions.
🧬 Miri Polachek, senior healthtech exec and investor, and venture partner at quadraScope Venture Fund, initiated the new longevity innovation community meetup series. “Ecosystem building has endless benefits for an emerging field such as longevity. I’m glad to see the longevity innovation community growing.”

Last week marked a significant milestone for us at Imed as we hosted a transformative event in the realm of mental health – our "One Shot." This initiative brought together startups in the mental health industry and experts, fostering meaningful connections and collaborations.

Given the ongoing challenges in Israel, especially considering the psychological impact on our community, we extend a special invitation to startups dedicated to developing mental health technologies addressing psychological conditions and trauma.
During this exclusive event, participating startups had the privilege of meeting with renowned entities such as the Sourasky Medical Center's Psychological Services, Leumit Innovation Sick Fund, the head of mental health at Brothers and sisters for Israel - Civilian operation organization , IMed Capital, and Ichilovtech.
These personalized meetings offered a unique platform for startups to showcase their groundbreaking technologies and concepts related to mental health to industry experts. The primary goal was to provide valuable insights and feedback from seasoned professionals, facilitating growth and innovation in the mental health sector.
We are particularly enthusiastic about collaborating with technological companies making significant contributions to mental health, covering a broad spectrum of solutions.
