The real you may have died after the world around you told you that come to reality, stop day dreaming etc. I don't know if you can relate having your Parents, siblings and the society telling you all you can't do because life is hard. If a child today tells someone that I want to transform the African education system to enable graduates invet and develop machines, the same voices of old will rain down the mouths of others who accepted the average thinking. Listen, the true transformation comes from within, it's always an inside out arrangement. When Job was in pain, the wife and friends told him to case God so that he could die, When Jesus had inner conviction that he needed to die to save, people criticised him even those who meant well for him. When David had inner conviction about his mission to take down Goliath, people who meant well refused him to. The list can go on and on, the truth remains that they were told to stop day dreaming because what they couldn't do themselves was days-dreaming. Greatness is born in resisting the destructive voice. Greatness is born in uncertainties.

Have you written your goals for 2026, You will not realise that you have wasted your past years until you make goals for 2026. Let me be a bit technical🤔. Our bodies have some chemical messengers that are necessary for savival. One of those is Dopamine hormone. This is a goal Oriented hormone among other functions. Everytime you hit your goal there is a high siege of this chemical release. As Dopamine is also called a feel good hormone, Hitting your goal makes you feel good and quickly work hard to achieve the next goal. Why setting goals?

✅️They help you to live purposefully
✅️It will help you avoid unnecessary spending that doesn't lead to the goal fulfillment.
✅️It will help you realise that your yearly income is not enough.
Among others.
Your goals must be SMART.
Kindly break down this acronym in the comment section if you know😊

Life has no written script that can work for everyone, if you have it, you may not be able to use it during the test called the test of life because most of the times we operate on auto pilot mode which doesn't care about a given script but repeated actions. What you do daily, you will be longing to do it daily. Even if it's destructive, I said you will still do it because your subconscious mind doesn't know and care about the difference.

In 2026 we plan our work and work our plans. no surprises, to succeed is to be intentional. for things that didn't work out, we restrategise, for those that worked, we improve the strategies.

*I don't know who needs to hear this but I will pin it here🥰😀*

I have had some provoking thoughts so I thought of sharing, but I will start with questions.

1. Have you ever been disqualified for a job because the employer wanted a 2 year experienced person or it's equivalent but you never had?
2. Have you ever turned down an offer of a job because a pay was too low?
3. Have you ever seen an advert that was written "Having a driver's license will be an added advantage"?
4. Have you ever taken your application forms to different companies, where people who didn't do well in class got the job when you never did?
Regardless of your answers to the questions above, I have something to say, I hope you will read through to the end🥰🥰

It's true that life in Zambia is hard, the job market is competitive, people who know others are being employed.
Graduating in the past was classic, jobs were easy to find unlike today. Most of us remain at static positions and watch those we call luck ones get opportunities. Try to do this;

*👉Gain experience*.
Don't just turn down offers because the pay is low. Push yourself though it hurts, you are building capacity that will lead you to high paying jobs.
*👉Acquire other relevant skills.*
Some companies will look for a multi-purpose person, e.g a driver and a manager or sales personnel. Instead of employing 2 he would rather employ someone who can do both. This makes people with added skills more likely to be employed than others even though all graduated from the same program. Learn computer skills, graphics and designing, leadership etc. This will help you have a competitive advantage.
*👉Pay attention to the your social media platforms.*
Some company will investigate before they employ. They will check your social media footprints and see what you post and comments you make on other people's posts(vetting). If you profile is disorganized, they believe you are also disorganized. Post decent photos and make good post. The criteria today go beyond your paper.

Stay blessed 🙌

Poverty and wealth are the products of the mind not money. Before you think I'm disrespectful and arrogant let me bring this to your attention; In Isreal and other well to do countries they don't have minerals like is African do. In Isreal in the desert region and generally on the south, they have 75mm(dry area) rainfall per year while in Zambia in the most dry areas/region 1 (around gwembe area) we recieve an average of 600mm per year. On average Isreal recieves about 350mm per year while Zambia recieves about 1000mm per year.
Talking about the water bodies, fir Isreal to use the water from the sea they have to undergo the desalination process (removal of salt) in irder fir it to be good for use. Fresh water scarcity makes water expensive for the farmers. In Zambia and other African countries we have water, even the underground water is accessible but many Zambians are struggling. Labor is scarce in these first world countries unlike in Africa where cheap labor is accessible. When others have to flatten mountains fir them to have an area for agriculture, us the area is naturally flat and fertile but still poor💔. The earlier we accept the hard truth that the Poverty is a mental issue the better. We need to shift our focus from daily blames on others to taking ownership and redeem ourselves. Read books of successful people, listen to beneficial podcasts and watch videos that changes the view of life.

When the poor are struggling with making ends meet, the rich are struggling with protecting and multiplying what they have(managemenal issues).Single people are struggling with loneliness, those in relationships are struggling with fitting into each other's life in this fake generation. When jobless youths are struggling and looking forward to settle for anything that will help them to pay bills, Youths with Jobs have issues with their employers and they are thinking of resigning😉. When others are obsessed with working and studying abroad for exposer and financial stability, few in diaspora are thinking of cutting their contracts short and looking forward for the end of their academic years due to stress and life imbalance. When others are obsessed with power, those in power exercising true leadership are lonely at times and feel like resigning in tough times💔. When aspiring entrepreneurs are obsessed with becoming ones, those already in the entrepreneurial space are stressed with management, trading sleep for work. I call it the world of stress. Stress management is the key. Strive to be who you want to be, understand the stress associated with it and learn how to handle it. Giving up is not the solution, everyone is dancing his/her own song. All across, songs have different rhythms, master yours as you climb the ladder.
