There are strong bodies that are tired. There are soft bodies that are forgotten. Each one deserves care.

We often think that if the body is strong, it doesn’t need rest. It can handle the load, endure fatigue, but over time, it gets tired, even if we don’t notice it. The state of exhaustion may be hidden — because the body is used to the strain and doesn’t send signals. But it still wears down.

On the other hand, there are bodies that seem soft and relaxed, but they are no less important. They don’t hurt, they don’t show signs of fatigue, but they are forgotten. We don’t give them the attention and care they deserve. Softness and relaxation are not weakness — they are a need for attention and care.

Every body — whether strong but tired, or soft but forgotten — deserves care. Because we live in these bodies. And they are essential to us. They allow us to move, feel, exist.

Your body is not a function. It doesn’t have to be productive. It wants to be alive.

I am always amazed at how often we treat our bodies as mere tools. Something that should work, deliver results, always be in shape, and perform tasks. But when you think about it, does our body exist only to perform functions? Or is it, first and foremost, meant to be alive, feeling, and experiencing?

We spend so much time living in our heads that we forget what it’s like to simply be here and now, in our bodies, feeling its wholeness and aliveness. We forget that our body is not just a machine that needs to be productive, not just a vessel for our tasks and goals. It’s not something that needs to be “fixed,” “improved,” or “shaped,” as if it were a project requiring constant enhancement.

Your body is your connection to the world. It feels, senses, breathes, moves. It is capable of joy and sorrow, and it helps you experience life in every moment. Your body does not have to be productive; it just needs to be alive.

When we allow ourselves to just be in our bodies without pressure and expectations, when we free ourselves from the need to always be “working,” we open up something important inside us.
