Are you puzzled how to spend time with your lil one.

Playing with babies that too age appropriate play can help in creating so many joyful moments.

A few key points to remember here:-

Babies have a short attention span so keep repeating your game.

If baby shows disinterest then change it to some other game.

Play in a distraction free environment.

Have a soft face and tone when interacting with the baby.

It’s irritating right…….
I am talking about that Nasty feeling our kids get after consuming Dairy products, we all have our preferences when it comes to food- my view is, your food should help you with your growth- Physical & Mental; should suit your pallet and connect you with your culture and society you live in.

There are 3 types of Lactose intolerance that we know:-

🔺 Primary, Which comes with age some ethnic groups are more prone to this specially if you don’t consume it for a long time.

🔺 Secondary, It is the acquired one resulting as a underlying condition in celiac disease, any intestinal surgery or inflammation of intestines.

🔺 Congenital, As the lactase enzymes develops after 34 week of pregnancy in a baby, premature babies are in the risk zone.

I have shared a few tips to tackle this condition in the video and would be glad to help your child if they are undergoing this challenge.

Love it- Hate it but you can’t Ignore it- Yes, That’s monsoon for you.

And specially if you have a kid in the house you need to be extra cautious with the food, lifestyle etc. as switching changes in climatic conditions easily infect our food with different bacteria and a variety of viruses.

Apart from seasonal flu & fever,water borne diseases are quite common during monsoon season.

Hence, I have pulled together a few ways by which we can let our kids enjoy the thrill monsoon brings along.

The Most Scientific way to Bond with your child.

A healthy body is a healthy brain, thus food & drink matter when it comes to performance.

Preparing for exams can be mentally challenging for students of all ages.

Breakfast Banter: Make sure you eat a brain boosting breakfast, rich in slow release carbohydrates with side portions of protein and omega 3-6 fats. Eg. porridge of rolled oats,Muesli, Dryfruits laddu with Milk, Boiled eggs, sautéed paneer with vegetables.

Snacking for Stamina: Replace sugary snacks with dried fat, banana, apple, pear.

Bedtime Bites: Avoid caffeinated food & Drinks for at least four hours before bedtime, try a glass of warm turmeric milk. Avoid bulky, acid forming food like white pasta, maida etc. Make sure you check Green leafy vegetables in Dinner.

Healthy Hydration: Dehydration starve your brain and kills your concentration and you end up being foggy, lethargic and having a headache. Water also curbs Anxiety.

Start experimenting with these meals and slowly and gradually add them in your daily diet and let me know what worked for you and what not.
