Update on COVID-19
Some of the international research of risk factor of COVID-19 severity established that along with diabetes, hypertension, heart problem; the preexisting PERIODONTAL DISEASE (GUM DISEASE / पायोरिया / मसुडो की बिमारी / પાયોરિયા / પેઢાનો રોગ) is also responsible risk factor for COVID-19 severity.

A team of international researchers published their findings in the Journal of Clinical Periodontology

The study looked at more than 500 people who tested positive for COVID-19 in Qatar between February and July last year. Of those, about 45% had gum disease.

Researchers found that those COVID-19 infected patients who had gum disease were 3.5 times more likely to be admitted to the ICU, 4.5 times more likely to need a ventilator, and almost 9 times more likely to die from the virus, when compared to those COVID-19 patients who didn’t have gum disease.

So during this pandemic period also maintain your GUM HEALTH & ORAL HYGIENE (मसुडो का स्वास्थ्य और मुंह की स्वच्छता / પેઢાનું સ્વાસ્થ્ય અને મોઢાની સ્વચ્છતા) to reduce severity of COVID-19.

How to brush our children's teeth? Should we clean mouth of our newborn? Which brush should we use for our child?
This is the most common questions among my patients and parents of newborn! This video may help parents of the new born
In reality, the hygiene of the baby's mouth begins from birth, you can clean gums of your child with cotton cloth or finger brush after birth. With the first feedings, you should remove both milk residues and plaque from the mouth which will give a fresher and more pleasant sensation (especially in case of reflux or frequent regurgitation) to the child. Start to correct oral hygiene habits for when the first teeth appear. If you don't always succeed, don't worry! The first months are a source of stress and fatigue, I've been there too! Useful tools to help you in the following photos!

Smile Transformation
This can be achieved with the help of and some vision, planning and proper ex*****on :) In this case we had to remove the remaining teeth due to periodontal disease and gave upper and lower prosthesis. After the healing process we were able to deliver a very smile that made us all very happy.
