# 🎤 I had the privilege and honor to speak as the Keynote Speaker at the 1st Intercity Meet of Rotary District 3100 in Bijnor, UP, on the topic of **Legal and Ethical Landscape of Organ Donation in India**.

# 🤝 It was an additional honour to share the stage with PDG Anil Agrawal (RID 3056), who was my installation officer in 2016-17 during my presidency at RC Ahmedabad Metro (RID 3055), along with seven other PDGs from RID 3100 and Rtn. Rajesh Mittal from RC Delhi Manthan – ROG – BOD India head.

📌 **Personal Tribute: Honoring Shweta Ajmera**

🕊️ On May 27, 2025, I faced the heartbreaking loss of my niece, Shweta Ajmera, in Indore. A brilliant Chartered Accountant with expertise in forensic auditing, Shweta was a shining star whose light was extinguished far too soon due to heart failure.

✨ Some time ago, Shweta must have attended an event on organ donation and shared her wish with her younger sister. After her passing, her sister conveyed this to their parents, who, without hesitation, honored her wishes. Her eyes were donated to M.K. International Eye Bank https://eyebank.in/ , and her body was donated to Sri Aurobindo University - https://sriaurobindouniversity.edu.in/

🙏 On May 29, 2025, I attended her *besna* in Indore.

Representatives from both institutions were present, along with Mr. Sandeepan Arya, a remarkable figure in the field of organ donation Muskaan Group and a member of SOTTO MP. https://www.organdonationindore.org/

During our meeting, he expressed interest in expanding grief counseling efforts pan-India to further the cause of organ donation.

💖 Shweta's legacy lives on, not only through her professional achievements but also in the lives she continues to touch through her selfless act of donation.
