Don’t sweat the small stuff. ⁣

⁣Too often I speak to women who are running themselves into the ground trying to be “perfect” following outrageous plans. ⁣
⁣Cutting carbs. ⁣
Cutting sugar. ⁣
No snacks. ⁣
No booze. ⁣
Burning X calories per day. ⁣
A step count that my dog wouldn’t even hit 🤯⁣

We can’t stress on this enough: Workouts aren’t a punishment! Here are a few key points to keep in mind:

1) No workout should leave you so sore that you can barely move the next morning. Instead, focus on workouts that provide adequate stimulus for you to keep getting stronger!

2) A workout shouldn’t lead to “bad” pain, or pain that causes you any level of discomfort. At the most, you should feel a little “good” pain after a particularly intense training session.

3) If your workout makes you feel like throwing up, you’re doing it wrong. Exercise is a positive activity—it should leave you feeling energised!

4) Finally, never base your workout on a celebrity’s or athlete's workout. Instead, focus on following an exercise plan that is based on your fitness level and individual movement skills!

The effects of excessive use of computer screens and smartphones are raising serious concerns among health and educational authorities due to negative effects of such use in children and adolescents💯

In this 21st century and Digital Era, we’re constantly bombarded by bells, buzzes and chimes that alert us to messages we feel compelled to view and respond to immediately. Too many humans have become slaves to the devices that were supposed to free us, giving us more time to experience life and the people we love. 😳

Its connections to other human beings that nourish us and make us feel like we count. Our presence, our full attention is the most important thing we can give each other. ❤️
