Two scans.
Two very different responses.

One shows multiple eggs growing.
The other… only a few.

This is what AMH actually reflects — the number of eggs you have.

And here’s the important part —
IVF cannot increase your egg count.
It can only help the eggs you already have
grow in that cycle.

So when AMH is low,
it doesn’t mean pregnancy is impossible…
But it does mean
you’re working with fewer eggs.

And that’s why timing matters.
Because later, we can try with what’s available…
but we cannot create new eggs.

Don’t wait for things to become difficult
before you start thinking about it.

Do you have a child and think everything is still fine?
Well, not always.

As age increases, your parameters can also change.

Don't guess, test.

Not all IVFs are the same. 🔬

The protocol matters.
The lab matters.
The embryologist matters.

A day-3 transfer and a blastocyst transfer are not the same procedure.
PGT testing at 37 is not optional — it's the difference between a failed cycle and a successful one.
Modern IVF is personalised. It looks at your age, your embryos, your history — and builds a plan around you. Not a standard checklist.

If your IVF failed and nobody sat down to explain why — that's not just bad luck. There are better things which we can do.
This is modern and personalized IVF.

You deserve better than "let's try again and see."

Controversial opinion: PCOS is not why you're not getting pregnant. The way it's being managed might be. 🔥

Yes — a healthy lifestyle matters with PCOS.
Eating right, exercising, managing weight. Nobody is denying that.

But here's what nobody is telling you:
If you're young, you have time to focus on lifestyle changes. They can work. But if you're 30, 32, 35 — and PCOS is still not under control — waiting is not a strategy. Age is.

The chances of a healthy pregnancy — whether natural or through IVF — always depend on your age. Always. Not just your PCOS.

PCOS affects ovulation. Ovulation can be triggered. But no treatment in the world can reverse time.

Timely treatment is what changes outcomes.
The earlier you act, the better your chances. Don't let anyone convince you that lifestyle alone is enough when your age is working against you.

Look at the bigger picture. Not just the PCOS.

If you are not going to act on it,
Why get those tests done in the first place?

Your reports, like your AMH report, are not just numbers.
They are giving you so much information about your timelines.

Getting tests done definitely helps.. but the main point is to act on it!

Timely action, decisions, is everything.

One and done ✅

In today's time, IVF is not just about getting a child, it's more about completing your FAMILY GOAL with just 1 cycle.

Due to modern protocols and better techniques,
A single blastocyst can give a very high chance of pregnancy.
& Better freezing techniques allow the embryos to be preserved for a long time.

Key point?
Age at which the embryos are made / eggs are collected.

That is where the magic starts.

Your uterus is not a bag
that once you get up, the embryo “falls out.”

But many couples are still told to take strict bed rest after IVF.
Here’s the reality..

✅ Bed rest does NOT increase your chances of pregnancy.

Studies have shown that staying in bed
doesn’t improve implantation or outcomes.

What actually matters?
• Age — younger eggs, better chances
• Embryo quality — blastocyst stage matters
• Genetics — PGT-tested embryos have the highest potential

IVF success depends on how good the embryo is... not how still you are.

And in fact, unnecessary bed rest
often increases anxiety and stress...
If we haven’t met yet — I’m Dr Jwal Banker (MS, DNB), fertility specialist.
I simplify IVF so you can focus on what actually matters.
Follow for clear, practical guidance.

So after your transfer:
Walk normally.
Take your medicines.
And trust the process.
