What a wonderful day today. A day where west meets east. Today is women's day and today is Shivaraatri as well.
It is said that where women are worshipped, god lives there. yantra naaryastu pujyante, ramante ta**ra devatah.
Bharata is a place where famine principle is celebrated from time immemorial. Parashakti is the cause of creation. Living in such a high valued society why we restrict ourselves and our consciousness by celebrating mere women's day.
We are worshipper of Ardhnareeshwara, where shiva and shakti are incomplete without each other.
On this day of Shivaraatri I want you to read this reference which says Bhagwan shiva got the status of jagadisha, only after getting married to Bhagwati.
