notified separately. The candidates are advised to visit BOPEE website regularly for
day to day updates. The above counselling schedule is exclusively for candidates who
have applied for GNM / ANM / MRT Courses only and not for candidates who have
applied for GNM LATERAL ENTRY course, irrespective of inclusion of their names
in the Annexure “A” to this Notification.

All the seats in OM in GNM L.E course 2022 have exhausted and no seat in OM is available. Candidates belonging to OM need not to attend counselling on 09-12-2022. However, seats in CDP (THREE) ,Sports (TWO) ,JKPM (ONE) ,STL (TWO) ,SC-PWD (ONE) and OM-PWD (ONE) are vacant, candidates belonging to these categories can attend counselling on 09-12-2022. Candidates are advised to go through the seat matrix available on the BOPEE website before attending the counselling on 09-12-2022.

*BOPEE reserves medical seats for kins who lost family members in militant attacks*

Srinagar, Nov 8, KNT: Jammu and Kashmir Government have announced that the kins of those killed in militancy-related incidents will get a reservation in MBBS and BDS quota.

The policy will be applied to the central pool MBBS/BDS Seats.

A notice released by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) stated that those students who have lost both their parents or the sole breadwinner of their household in a militant attack will be considered eligible for this quota.

Likewise, if the parents or students themselves have been injured or handicapped in a militant attack, the reservation will apply to them too, the notification read.

To avail the reservation the student should have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually, in addition to a minimum of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OSC, 45% for Gen-PwD category candidates, and 40% for SC/ST/OBC-PWD candidates) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-Technology.
