An Awareness-cum-Medical Camp was successfully organized by AAM Hardtooru and AAM Manzmooh with the aim of promoting health awareness and providing basic medical services to the local population.
During the camp, a large number of people from nearby areas participated and benefited from free medical check-ups, consultations, and distribution of medicines. The medical team also educated the public about preventive healthcare, hygiene practices, and the importance of early diagnosis and timely treatment.
The initiative was well-received by the community and played a significant role in spreading awareness about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

An AYUSH Medical Aid-cum-Awareness Camp was successfully organized at AHWC YK Pora, Anantnag today on Monday 06.04.2026 as per camp calander issued by District AYUSH Officer Anantnag.

Highlights of the Camp

1. *Health Awareness Session*
A comprehensive health awareness programme regarding importance of AYUSH in the management of various disorder and the prevention of diseases by adopting AYUSH aahar vihaar was given by Dr Shaheen Ahmad Mir Medical Officer.He also gave a deliberation on the
Prevention and management of lifestyle-related diseases and
Promotion of healthy living through AYUSH preventive measures

2. *Screening of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)*
Patients were screened for major NCDs including:

Hypertension

Diabetes Mellitus

3. *Diagnostic Services Provided*

Blood Sugar Testing was carried out for the visiting patients.

4. Clinical Examination & Patient Care
All attending patients were thoroughly examined and provided free AYUSH medicines as per need and availability.

The overall performance and community-oriented services provided by **AYUSH Health & Wellness Centre, YK Pora Anantnag* were highly appreciated by the visiting patients and local population.

Conclusion

Today, on 03/04/2026, an awareness camp regarding Ayurvidya Healthy Lifestyle was organized by Mr. Shahid Manzoor Dar, MPW (Ayurveda), at Government Primary School Tantraypora Kanelwan. The session focused on promoting healthy living practices through Ayurveda and creating awareness among the local population.
In addition, an awareness session on Musculoskeletal Disorders was conducted by Ms. Ruqaiya Yousuf, MPW, at Hardtooru, where participants were educated about prevention, management, and lifestyle modifications related to musculoskeletal issues.
