Mehmood Gami (1773-1870 AD) was an iconic figure of his time, recognized for his outstanding Sufi poetry in Kashmiri. Moreover, he has a significant corpus of poetry in Persian. His contributions to Kashmiri and Persian literature are multifaceted and noteworthy. One of his notable works is Naat Goye. I aim to present a paper on his Naat poetry.

قرآن مجید میں جس کے چہرہ مبارک کو والضحٰی سے تعبیر کیا گیا ہے اور جس کی زلفیں پھیرنے سے رات آتی ہے۔ میں اس کی ولادتِ باسعادت پر تمام عالم انسانیت کو مبارک باد پیش کرتا ہوں۔
