Team Member alert! Our ever-helpful, ever-smiling Vidya is the finest childminder we could have asked for. She has been with us right from the start and is a favourite with many a kid. She is hardworking, straightforward and enjoys fashion, cooking and singing. She enjoys being around little children as she is never bored around them and is well-versed with handling all their needs.

Chaat party! We had the lovely Shweta, an avid cook hailing from a family of Chefs, come in to do a cooking workshop with the kids! The created the Indian favourite snack called Chaat - mixing together puffed rice, nuts, crunchies and other savouries to form a most delectable mixture enjoyed thoroughly by all the kids. They thought it was so tasty! In the process, they practiced mixing, stirring, spooning , gripping and of course munching 😁 thank you Shweta!

We started our 8 week music capsule with Ranjit, an accomplished musician and natural born teacher. Our first Strings class encapsulated multiple elements: movement and dancing, instruments (tuning, plucking, strumming, strings fam etc), scales and singing, concepts (like up/down, slow/fast), anatomy and breathing, vowels, counting and so much more! An incredible experience.
Ranjit is a multi instrumentalist who studied Literature and Music at Rutgers University, USA. While at Rutgers, Ranjit engaged deeply with the Music department’s Opera Performance, Jazz Theory, Jazz History and Jazz ensemble curricula. He started singing in choirs at the age of 7 and performing in operas at the age of 12. He had early opportunities to work with Bobby McFerrin and Dave Brubeck (!) Ranjit has taught Music Together classes in NYC, whilst working with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, The New York City Ballet and National Dance Insititute as a dance accompanist. He is a solo singer songwriter and is now an active part of the Goa music scene where he plays in multiple settings.

Our Goa-style playhouse created artfully by ! We have put in a carpet and are slowly going to decorate with the kids’ artwork and some cushions and other little bits. Ofer made sure we have good ventilation in there and light coming in from the top so that it’s not dark in there - we also installed a little curtain as a doorway and some plants at the entrance. More scope for imaginary play!

Our excellent outdoor space coming together under the expert hand of who was an absolute pleasure to work with. Here we have our outdoor mud kitchen complete with tap and basin, hooks to hang utensils and shelves to place items like food - the kids are enjoying themselves using mud, sand, rocks and leaves! A joy to see them engage with imaginary play. Actual real life utensils are on their way to us for more fun in the kitchen!

We had the most incredible Christmas party this year! With activities like Christmas cookie decoration and Christmas tree craft to a jolly Santa Claus who distributed gifts. We did carol singing with our parents and ate lots of yummy food! Small tokens of our love to the parents ended the joyful afternoon. Thanks parents for all your help - special shout-out to Rockalin, Sarah, Mark, Malavika, Nyima, Natasha, Audrey, Neeta and Vidya for all the hard work!
