Official Clarification Regarding the Alleged Incident Reported by TRK News

This is to address the concerns raised in the video shared by TRK News, which alleges the removal of the wrong tooth during a dental procedure. The facts of the case are as follows:

1. The patient in question visited the hospital multiple times, consistently complaining about issues with the upper wisdom tooth (commonly referred to as the "upper 8"). This was thoroughly documented in the patient's previous prescriptions and treatment notes.
2. Based on the patient’s repeated complaints and clinical examination, extraction of the upper 8 was deemed necessary. The tooth was severely damaged and beyond repair (photo evidence attached), leaving no alternative treatment options. Consequently, extraction was performed as the only viable solution.
3. The patient has since claimed that the tooth in question is still present. These claims are medically inaccurate and misleading. The allegations appear to misrepresent the facts and lack any basis in medical evidence. It is unfortunate that TRK News has presented a distorted version of events, seemingly for social media attention.
Furthermore, we strongly condemn TRK News for publicly displaying face of Female Dental Surgeon in their report. This action breaches privacy and violates both women's rights and professional ethics. Such actions are unacceptable and warrant immediate attention from concerned authorities to prevent further harassment.

We remain committed to delivering ethical and professional healthcare services and trust that these clarifications will help dispel any misconceptions about this matter.

MLA Nizamuddin Bhat Reviews Facilities at District Hospital Bandipora

Bandipora, Nov 26: Advocate Nizamuddin Bhat, Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Bandipora, conducted a comprehensive review of the functioning of the District Hospital Bandipora on Sunday.

During his visit, the MLA inspected the facilities available at the hospital and took stock of its preparedness for the winter season. He assessed the heating arrangements made for the comfort of patients and stressed the need for adequate measures to ensure uninterrupted patient care during harsh weather conditions.
