On 25th June 2025, Prof. Pradeep Varma from IIT Bombay visited CARI, Bengaluru. A detailed discussions were held regarding potential collaborations between CCRAS-CARI in enriching the Indian Culture Portal, a flagship initiative developed under Prof. Varma’s leadership as part of the National Virtual Library of India project, funded by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The collaborative opportunities aim to integrate India’s rich Ayurvedic knowledge into the broader cultural narrative showcased through the portal.
Dr. Sulochana, Head of CARI, also indicated that more institutes under the CCRAS and the Ministry of Ayush may be involved in this initiative, subject to the necessary concurrence from the competent authorities.

The 100 days’ celebration leading up to the International Day of Yoga 2025 culminated on 21st June at CARI Bengaluru with a practice of the Common Yoga Protocol, synchronised with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s mass yoga event held at Visakhapatnam. The event was graced by Prof. Sundar Swaminathan from IISc Bengaluru and Commodore H.G. Harsha, Chairman of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Trust (a unit of the Art of Living Foundation). The session underscored the unifying power of yoga and reflected the nationwide spirit of well-being, discipline, and harmony.
